Today is sweet potato day!

Here's the first bite of sweet potatoes...

He's a little unsure and seems more interested in the spoon.

But here we are just a couple of minutes later,

and he starts to grunt when I don't get it to him quickly enough!

I've been giving Isaac just a little bit of water to practice using a sippy cup after meals.

By the way he reaches, you can tell he recognizes the sippy cup!

Fastforward a few weeks...

This video was shot this week (the first week of March.) Isaac was hungry, and when Jacob came in from getting Isaac's frozen sweet potatoes from the freezer in the garage, Isaac started reaching for it. So, we thought we'd give it to him to see what he'd do with a frozen cube of sweet potato...

The verdict is in: We can't skip the microwaving step in getting Isaac's food ready!

But that face was priceless!
