Titans v. Steelers

Nashville, Tennessee

Jacob's dad won tickets at an auction for a Tennessee Titans game, so they were all looking forward to it and were even more excited when it turned out to be a big game between the two teams. It was a Holmes boys' day to remember:
Uncle Mack, Papa Jack, Jacob, and Josh

They had great seats...

in a box where it was warm with lots of free food!

The Titans won, so they definitely had a great time!

The next day, Josh took Jacob to a Grizzlies game in Memphis. Jacob has always been a basketball fan, and even I was converted when we lived in Memphis because we had season tickets to the Grizzlies games (and they were pretty good back then!). My interest in sports has always been about... zilch, but now, I love some basketball.

Josh & Jacob saw the Grizzlies play the Lakers that night (with former Grizzlies player Pau Gasol).

We are so not fans of Kobe...

more like anti-fans of Kobe and his ego.

I'm not sure why we have this picture.

It was a close game, and Jacob even called me in the last two minutes...

there was hope of a Grizzlies victory over the Lakers, but alas, it didn't happen.

So, two big sports events for Jacob right in the middle of the Christmas season, his favorite time of the year...

He was a happy guy!
