When I was pregnant, we prayed for our baby to be healthy and happy, and so far, he's healthy and VERY HAPPY!
Isaac is practicing spending time in the play yard in these photos, and he doesn't seem to mind a bit! I know when he's older (*crawling*) I'll want him to play in the play yard sometimes, and I've read to start using it early so that they don't hate it! So, we've been practicing in the bouncy chair... in the play yard!
Here are a couple of short video clips... Isaac has starting kicking his legs and waving his arms around when he gets happy and excited, like in this first video. Looks like quite a leg workout!
Advanced warning: these videos are in French. I'm speaking French to Isaac in hopes that he'll eventually be bilingual. I'm trying to do 100% French, but I'd say we're probably at about 85-90%. It was really hard to get used to at first, but it's becoming more and more natural each day. It's great for me because I'm looking up and learning new words all the time. It's the most challenging for me to stay in French when Christian and Jacob come home, but they're both very supportive and remind me, "Mom, that's English!"

He's starting to coo and seems to think he's carrying on an entire conversation with you! They say that babies babble all the sounds of all languages... do you think he's cooing in French?! :)
