Jacob worked in secret in the garage all day the Saturday before Mother's Day, so I knew he was up to something, but I had no idea what...
I saw it! The look on my face shows my complete surprise!!
I have ALWAYS wanted a stork in the yard when I have a baby and come home from the hospital. (I must have seen this at some point when I was a kid because I remember being very young and thinking, "I hope I have a stork in my yard when I have a baby!")

The stork had a note addressed to me in his beak, and he promised to be back in our front yard with a special delivery around July 16!
Here's a picture we took later in the day --I still can't believe Jacob made & painted this thing.
He's so cute!
Christian gave me a very special gift before church --he made me pink, lavender-scented bath salts!
He chose the color and the scent just for me!
He was so proud of those bath salts, and I loved them! He's such a sweet boy!
**We cooked out at Papa Jack & Zanna's for Mother's Day lunch,
but I don't have any pictures of it!**
Mimi & Poppy came in town that afternoon after spending a week on Kentucky Lake with their long-time friends, the Smiths. Mom came bearing baby gifts from Joyce & Kristy -- monogrammed burp cloths! This one says, "God bless Isaac."
cute!
And this one says, "Somebody in Texas loves me."I believe Mimi requested this monogram--
she loves to adorn our children with Texas propaganda.
Here's Mimi opening her Mother's Day gifts.I told her that our church baby shower was scheduled for June 14, which is the weekend that she's spending with her sisters. She was sad that she would have to miss it...
