Christian and I had a mommy-son morning before he had to start school. We needed to look for school shoes for him, so we decided to make an event out of it and started our morning with breakfast at IHOP.
We played Mad Libs (one of Christian's favorite things to do) while waiting for our food to arrive.
He enjoyed taste testing all the different flavors of syrup that were on the table.
We got to the shoe store before it opened, so we had a little fun with the camera while we were waiting.
We found some shoes (on sale!) then headed home. He's already asking if we can have a mommy-son day before the new baby comes. We'll see!
