Here you can watch Isaac having formula for the first time... but he realizes very quickly that this is NOT his milk!!!
You can hear the dejection in my voice as I've finally decided after months of battling to breastfeed exclusively, to give Isaac some formula. It's been a struggle since day one, and I decided on this evening to offer him 2oz of formula if he was fussy after nursing.
He'd had bottles of breastmilk before, so the bottle wasn't new to him, and you can tell by the way he reaches for it that he knows what's coming. Or so he thinks...
After I turned off the camera, I tried to help him get a good latch on the bottle... I thought that once he started drinking it, he'd guzzle it down.

He didn't want any part of it and hasn't since then. I have been mixing it into his cereal in the mornings, and he hasn't seemed to notice since it's masked under the cereal. I'm trying to get him used to the taste in case we get in a crunch and need him to take a formula bottle, but so far, he still refuses it, and we haven't needed it.
Since this video was shot about 3 weeks ago, I've been taking a tincture of herbs to increase my milk supply, and it's working like a miracle (Thank you, Catherine!!!). If you or anyone you know runs into a problem with milk supply, send 'em my way, and I'll be happy to recommend this stuff!
