On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we skipped another big shopping day of the year and headed off to the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science with Benji, Rebekah, Caroline, Debbie, T-Rex, and Daniel.
It's a really cool museum with lots of neat science stuff and even a children's museum.
Christian dug in a big sand pit that was a re-creation of a dinosaur dig.
He loved it.
Jacob continued his never-ending game of "funny places can we put Isaac."
this round: inside a dinosaur fossil
AHHHHHHHH!

This room was so fun... giant bubbles!

It's hard to say who had more fun...
Christian or Jacob & Benji!

In the children's museum downstairs, there's a fake cow that kids can milk. Jacob had the camera, and we have a lot of pictures from this section of the museum.... they must have really liked it!

until Daddy decided to put the little bee in the garden for a photo.
But little bee still doesn't know how to sit up alone...
and that shot was taken moments before little bee toppled forward.

In this "garden" area, Jacob found this little bee hat for Isaac to wear,
and he seemed happy to be a bee.

until Daddy decided to put the little bee in the garden for a photo.
:(
Daddy then scoops up little bee and says, "See, he's ok... he still loves me, right?"
I don't know...look at this face...
If I had to add a voice bubble for Isaac's face in this picture,

ahhh.... safe with Rebekah!

Now that you've seen a couple of days' worth of pictures of us with our friends Benji & Rebekah, you may have a good idea of how sweet and special they are to us. Since you've seen their pictures, you can put a face with the names I'm asking you to pray for.

What do you think?
it'd probably be something like, "Mom, why are you not rescuing me?!"
Then, Jacob put the flower hat on and resorted to flying Isaac up in the sky,
usually a sure-fire way to get a smile. It worked!

Little bee pollinates the flower.
ahhh.... safe with Rebekah!

Rebekah is six months pregnant with a little girl named Gracie. Gracie has been given a fatal prognosis by her doctors. Gracie is still growing, but she's growing slowly, so Benji and Rebekah are in a state of uncertainty and waiting. Please pray with us for a miracle of healing for Gracie, along with strength & peace for Benji and Rebekah as they are going through the unthinkable.
As we are so sad with them and for them, I am constantly encouraged by their attitudes and the steadfastness of their faith in our great creator. They are praising God at every turn, and so we follow their lead and say, "Thank you God for our sweet friends and for what their friendship means to us. We praise you for your creation and thank you for Gracie and for healthy little Caroline. We ask for healing for Gracie and comfort for our friends. Amen."
