This post will be out of order chronologically, but since we posted Isaac meeting most of his family in the previous post, we wanted to post the pics of him meeting Poppy & Aunt Haley next!
They left Houston Thursday afternoon (July 17) and made the 11 hour trip to Jackson, arriving here at 2 a.m Friday morning.

About 9 a.m., Jacob was leaving for work, and since he wanted to be there when Isaac met Poppy, we took the baby into Poppy's room and woke him up!
I don't think he minded...
...especially when he saw the onesie that Jacob had made for Isaac to wear!
It says "I WANT MY POPPY"
Isaac was almost a whole week old before he got to meet Poppy,
and he was getting a little impatient! :)

HI Mandy
I'm so glad your mom passed your blog to my mom, who passed it to me. I am so excited that your new son is here. I have an Isaac too. He's just a bit younger than your Christian---he'll be 8 in Dec. My prayer for this Isaac is that he does indeed enjoy a life of laughter and in turn, be a blessing to others.
Having brothers is fun. Ethan is 4 now and the boys (mostly) enjoy each other. I remember telling Isaac when I was still pregnant with Ethan that when Ethan was big enough, we'd put bunk beds in their room. Sure enough, Ethan was just 13 months old when he moved to the bottom bunk becuase I needed the crib for Jaylie! I figure the boys can share a room til they can't stand one another. Hopefully you won't need the crib again so soon...but maybe one day:)
The nursery is beautiful. What a talented husband you have! It looks like something out of a magazine.
Enjoy all these early things, you know they go so fast.
God bless your sweet family
Love
Dixie Livingston
