We chose foods that could all be made up ahead, so all we had to do after church was put the food out on the table.
You know I love food & cooking, so it was fun making all the pretty food.
(and I got to use my platters and serving trays that were wedding gifts!)
chicken fingers with honey mustard, hummus and pita chips, meatball & bean salad, veggies and dip
fruit tea
and so the party begins...
with lots of pictures
and friends
Good times!
Then it was time for cake... Isaac got his cake first.
Then it was time for cake... Isaac got his cake first.
(Mom made Isaac a mini cake to look just like the big one, which looked just like the giant inflatable one!)

At first, he just wanted to play with it.

He squished it around in his hands for a while.

But then it finally made it to his mouth.

But then it finally made it to his mouth.
Then he got into it.

Time to cut the big cake!

We were taking pictures, cutting the cake, serving the cake, and before we knew it, I realized that Isaac had demolished his little 3-layer cake!
Look at that face!
"Did ya'll really just let me eat all that?"
My oh my.

The situation required a full bath.

The situation required a full bath.
It was a good day full of fun memories!
