Riverboat Trip

Poppy, Mimi, Dusty, Haley, Uncle Craig, Aunt Margaret, and Tyler arrived in Jackson on Saturday, June 6. That Sunday, we all went to church together.
Here's Haley with Isaac at church Sunday morning:

We took them to see the kids' themed rooms at church to see how neat they are.

Sunday evening, we spent some time at Papa Jack & Zanna's pool and ordered pizzas.

I have no idea why some of my pictures are coming up this way. They aren't portait in my pictures folder, and I can't figure out why they're turning when I post them. Sorry.

Anyway, we rarely feed Isaac when my mom is around. She's always dying to get her hands on him - feeding him, changing diapers, watching him so we can go out, etc... It's so nice!

Dusty acts as if he's going to sneak a bite and gets the evil eye from Isaac.

On Monday, June 8, we headed to get our boat for a week on Dale Hollow Lake.

Here's the boat:

It was 82' long!

It had 6 of these bedrooms

and 2 bathrooms

Uncle Craig gave Isaac a crossword puzzle to read. :)

I like this picture because it looks like Isaac is trying to say something without Mimi hearing:

We played lots of Bananagrams.

Christian loved jumping off the top deck of the boat
and sliding off the slide!

We gave him a snorkel set, so he did some snorkeling off the boat.

This is a great shot of Dusty, Christian, and Tyler in the hot tub at sunset.

Just wish it wasn't turned sideways.

We ate great on the boat (thanks to Mom & Dad for planning all the yummy meals!)

One night, Jacob made his Rendez-vous sausage & cheese platter.

Isaac enjoyed looking out the boat's big windows.

We spent lots of time floating on noodles.

Jacob snorkeled and chased ducks around.

We had Jacob's dad's seadoo tied to the boat, so we got to do some seadooing and tubing too. That was fun!

Isaac's favorite place was probably in his Johnny Jumper on the top deck.

Christian had no fear jumping off the top of the boat.

He even talked me into doing it.

Isaac loves being outside, so he was in heaven in his pack & play on the back deck of the boat.

Even Haley went down the slide!

And Dusty convinced her to jump off the top!

Aunt Margaret, Uncle Craig, Poppy, and Mimi weren't quite as rambunctious!

One morning, we woke up to find geese swimming around our boat.

Christian went out to feed them bread.

Aunt Margaret spent lots of time fishing.

Each time we tied off, it was a little tricky getting this huge boat secured!

The boat had two showers, but the marina guy told us that the water that runs through the showers is just heated lake water. He said that within earshot of Jacob, Tyler, Dusty, and Christian, so they decided that the slide was just as good as a shower.
