Pinkalicious Baby Sprinkle for Leslie

I had SO much fun planning this "pinkalicious" baby shower for Leslie.
Well, actually, it was a "sprinkle" since I guess a "shower" is for your first baby. For your second child, you don't need the big stuff like high chair, crib, etc since you already have all that. You just need a little "sprinkle" of things! :)
I ordered pink invitations with pink font from vistaprint.com (love that company!) and addressed the invitations with a pink pen.
(Can you see that I enjoyed getting carried away with all the pink?)
This was printed on the invitations:
Little babies are so much fun
Leslie's having another one!
A sweet baby girl is on the way
Let's celebrate with a "pinkalicious" day!
She was showered with blue for her first baby boy
Now it's time for a "sprinkle" of pink -- what a joy!

The "pinkalicious" theme was my mom's idea... she loves cupcakes and told me about a book called Pinkalicious. It's about a little girl who loves pink and eats so many pink cupcakes that she turns pink. So, we went with cupcakes and all pink decorations.
Two shades of pink carnations in little pink vases, pink napkins with cupcakes on them, pink plates, and two pink cupcake outfits.
Friends brought the cupcake stands and made cupcakes. We had strawberry cupcakes with strawberry icing and chocolate cupcakes with white icing and pink sprinkles. We made little cupcake flags (again, Mom's idea!) that said "It's a Girl!," "Baby Girl Spann," and "Pinkalicious!"
Another friend made the giant pink cupcake -- so cute!
We had pink lemonade punch to drink.
Here are the ladies signing the Pinkalicious book as a keepsake/guest register for Leslie.
She had a great turnout of people
and got lots of great girly things!
Here's Leslie with her mom and sister.
It was a fun and very pinkalicious afternoon!

So, is the baby here yet? Was it indeed a girl? You know, three sonos said Parker was a girl...

yes, little Lainey Eden was born on August 4. Good thing she was a girl after all that pink stuff!
