Kicking off the summer cook-out-style in our backyard
We did the burgers, and friends brought the sides & ice cream with cones for dessert.
The boys enjoyed the yard games that Jacob set up in the backyard.
Isaac enjoyed being outside watching all the big kids from his playpen!
Brayden ate his dinner,
then he wanted to get in with Isaac!
Lots of boys!
This started out last year as a night to get together with our friends who had boys (8 boys total last year; 8 boys total this year... Dylan couldn't come this year, but Isaac was here, so our total remained the same!)
and this year, we let the first girl in!There's Andi in the middle of the grown-up circle!
I read in a Real Simple party book to use window clings to decorate & identify plastic cups.
Thomas really decked his out!
The boys played some basketball and had a great time with each other. Last year, they went to the woods near our house and came back so muddy that they had to be hosed down before they went home. Thankfully, they came back clean this year!
Our friends the Roneys are moving to Minnesota, and we will SO miss them & their 3 boys next year at our summer kick-off cook-out!!!
