Isaac started dragging himself around at 6 1/2 months, and it took him a while to figure out how to get up on his knees! He did what we started to call the "wounded dog crawl" for about 5 weeks before he really got an official crawl.
This was in the transition period from "wounded dog" to crawl...
he started doing this headstand thing.
He'd get up on all fours, and just when you thought he was about to take off, he'd either drop to his belly or do a headstand.
Somewhere in the progression, he figured out how to push this crawling toy around the living room with his head.
He's got it! Up on all fours, motivated by the giggle bear!

At 9 1/2 months, he's a great crawler now! When he gets really excited and starts going fast, he kind of veers left though. It's pretty funny.
