On a Saturday night in March, it started snowing, and we couldn't believe it! We'd already had several warmer days, so this was totally unexpected.
Thank goodness we hadn't planted anything in it yet.

The next morning, we woke up to a winter wonderland!

Here's Christian reading by the fire that morning.
But before long, these boys wanted to get outside, so they started packing on the layers of clothing.

In case you didn't notice in that picture, here is a close-up of Jacob lacing his boots up. Yes, that is a Target bag that he's using as a sock for one of his layers.
We played in the front yard in what was the biggest snow we've seen in a long time!

Jacob pulled Christian around on the sled, and here he is pulling me!
Christian tries to pull Jacob!
Our Christmas tree got covered in snow on the side of our house.
(If you're wondering why we still have our Christmas tree, it's just one of Jacob's quirks... he loves to see how long we can keep our Christmas tree. Last year, we had it well, well into spring. At one point, he leaned it up against the front of our house with some of our other shrubs, just to see if I'd notice. As I'm typing this at the end of April, we still have this Christmas tree.)
