What a lucky, lucky girl I am to have these three sweet boys!
first swaddle
first poopy diaper change
He didn't even cry!
Saturday night
You may notice that Isaac's feet are crossed in almost every picture... he must have had them like that in the womb because he almost always put them back into that position. During our first few days at home, we learned to cross his feet when putting him in the swing or bouncy seat... it usually calms him down! Even now when we unwrap him from a tight swaddle, we'll find that he has somehow managed to cross his feet inside the swaddled blanket!

He didn't even cry!
Saturday night
The nurses told us Saturday night that Isaac would get a thorough assessment from the pediatrician Sunday morning and that they'd bring him to our room afterwards, around 9 am. The doctor as running late, so we went to the nursery around 10 am to look at him through the window, and our nurse rolled him right up to the glass.

We figured he'd be starving, and sure enough, he was just sucking away on that little fist!

Mrs. Jackson came to visit while Christian was there Sunday afternoon, so he got to give her one of his "Big Brother" suckers. He and Mimi made the display stand and these suckers that are in the shape of a t-shirt that says, "I'm a Big Brother."

Jacob enjoying the sweet tea that came on the cafeteria tray...

and Christian just being sweet!
Christian ended up holding Isaac for almost an hour while Jacob & I took naps! (Mimi was awake to supervise!)
These are the flowers from my mom & dad. My mom received flowers in this container when I was born, and she had the florist do an arrangement for me in it with daisies (my favorite!), roses, and blue accents. It was so sweet!
The pretty white roses are from the Drachenbergs.
This video was made Saturday night in the hospital -- Isaac was 9 hours old.
