Christian wanted to be the first to sit in the chair & hold Isaac. Actually, I had been really looking forward to doing this myself, but it was so sweet that Christian was so excited that I let him be first!

Isaac fell asleep in his new bouncy seat, and a special friend wanted to give him a hug!
This is Littlefoot, Jacob's childhood stuffed animal that served as our practice baby before we got the real thing! Poor Littlefoot went through diapering, swaddling... he was even carried in the sling!
Christian LOVES this baby!
Even now as I'm posting this, and Isaac is 1 month old, I can say that it hasn't worn off! The first thing I hear from Christian each morning is, "Where's my brother? Is he awake?" and I hear those same questions the minute he walks in the door from school!

We have that same identical cradle that all 3 of hours slept in. It had belonged to Eric's mother and Eric and his sister Dawn slept in it when they were newborns. It is now in my attic, and will be for some time until I am a grandmother, I suppose!
