If you read the baby books, you'll find that LOTS of things are a SIDS hazard -- including bumper padding. So, we put his beautiful bumper pad away when he started scooting around his crib. Now that he's a little older, we thought we'd put it back in because it looks so cute.
Isaac had other plans!
He just wasn't falling asleep that night, and this is what we found when we went in there...
He'd completely taken down all 4 sides of the bumper pad -- and seemed quite tickled with himself!
He was all giggles with Daddy - didn't seem a bit tired!
Who would've thought a bumper pad could get a kid so riled up!
He just kept standing there -- usually he lies right down at bedtime.
He kept giggling and standing there like, "hey! Where are you guys going? I thought we were having fun!"
Eventually, he did fall asleep...
without the bumper pad.
