Christian & Papa Jack had been looking forward to the annual re-enactment of the Battle of Shiloh since we missed it by a week last year. We went to the river the weekend of this year's re-enactment and found out on Saturday morning that the re-enactment was canceled due to soggy ground from rain the previous day! It was a disappointment, but we still visited the park and made the most of it!
